Path of Light Across North America

Peace Light North America is dedicated to facilitating the distribution of the Peace Light from Bethlehem throughout the North American continent. We will post information about the arrival of Peace Light to its initial North America destination, JFK International Airport, as it becomes available; along with the ceremony sponsored by Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens Committee on Scouting, held at the Our Lady of the Skies Catholic Chapel.

Each year Peace Light North America enthusiastic supporters work to share the Light with others and organize special ceremonies in their communities and across North America. We invite everyone to Get Involved to connect with other Peace Light supporters and organizations in your area, to share the Light across all of North America, helping to promote global peace.

Peace Light North America

The Peace Light, symbolic of the Light of Christ especially evident at Christmas, is meant to promote peace, harmony and unity among all people of the world regardless of race, ethnicity or creed.  The Peace Light makes its long journey from the Grotto of the Nativity in the Town of Bethlehem, to Tel Aviv, Israel,  to Vienna, Austria and finally safely across the Atlantic Ocean to New York City. Peace Light North America enthusiastic supporters move the Light person-to-person, lantern-to-lantern, across North America and around their local areas, actively promoting global peace.
